For many years, I have been creating and cooking in the kitchen. This, obviously is one reason why I just can't get that weight where I or my doctors want it. My problem is your benefit. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen with all types of foods. I will be building my personal cookbook here on this site. Every recipe has been personally tested by me and quite a few of my friends. I am what is call a cerebral cooker. This is a technique that I try and teach my cooking students. I know what the taste of the different ingredients are and combine those tastes in my head. I point this out, because I rarely measure. So, when I say, to taste, it really is to your taste. Growing up in a family of cooks and spending a lot of time in my father's restaurant kitchen has given me an appreciation of the smiles on the faces of our customers when they take the first bite. I hope that smile is with you and your guests when you try some of these tastes.
Starting during my earlier times growing up in Nashville, I learned to appreciate wines. Although I favor the reds, I have found many whites and even a few rosés have please my pallet. I will be working with what Jeff is preparing to recommend some good coordinated choices. Also, I will try and provide some information on some new wines, including the hot trend of the new wines from New Zealand. It will take a while to start building the collection here, but stop back often to check.
